Window switch repair.

Just thought I'd drop a note about a repair I completed today.
Sorry, no DIY.
But the plastic buttons on the switch were toast but not the switch.
I was able to buy the buttons from Turkey (the country, not the
gobbling kind) on ebay, and after pulling the door panel off, and disassembling the switch I was able to complete the repair.

Total cost $15 + 5 shipping. $20.
I bet he's cleaning up on those. Saved me at least $50-75 vs. a new one
but ha, $20 bucks for 2 little pieces of plastic.
Of course that nothing compared to the grey surround (or black)
that goes around the switches.
I paid 75 for that little piece of plastic after a body shop broke it
and that was the cheapest price on the net.

You need a very small torx to take apart the switch.
Like T4 or 5 or 6. Not sure.
Bought a little toolkit with these sizes from harbor freight.
Sorta like this one but with less bits and a better handle.

Thanks for this! One of my switches is getting that "loose" feeling when I do the auto up feature. This will come in handy soon.
