Angry Service A visit and results

Just got back from the stealer and thanx to the *DYNO MODE* I got the correct amount of oil put in. He was a little surprised that I knew it. It was also surprised that I checked up on him thanx to the info from this forum.

My receipt states verbatim "9 Q-1-09-0016 Mobil 1". It is 9 qts Mobil 1 0W-40.
I got into my car and dyno mode said only 7.1 qts. After pointing it out he filled it until it read 8.4 qts. He didn't want to put in anymore because of the 'overfill' sensitivity. But he did give me a little more to take with me, free of charge, to top it of so it would be the amount stated in the manual.

What was funny is the fact that he initially tried to tell me that his digital measure of the oil drum was correct. I pointed out my previous visit and the higher amount it showed on the MFD at that time. In the end he didn't have a leg to stand and he did right by me.

So, for all those that trust stealers after a service: DOUBLECHECK, because $s will add up for them.

Actually my dealer was pretty honest on writing "6 quarts" on the service paper. So I ended up adding another quart myself.

I think they figure there's some residual...but yeh, the coupe is supposed to have 7.5 qts. and the ppwk says 6.
I've called them on this, they didn't say much., except that that's how much oil they put in in an oil change on my car, std. procedure.
I added a qt to top off, and haven't had to add any since.
(service B)
BTW, in the first 10K miles I had to add like 3 qts.
Now that the engine is settled in, it doesn;t burn any oil any more.
