"kompressor"

Hey, silly question:
Anyone taken a close look at the back of your coupes? My kompressor badge is crooked (the k is about 1/2" higher than the r using the base of the plastic window just above as a reference.) Anyone notice this, think I should say something to my dealer? I'm leaning toward no but now that I noticed it its kinda bothering me. What do you guys think?

I just took it off, no badging on the back. Some have changed to C230K. The big sedan has the same badging, and I wanted to be different, so now it looks better with out it and makes waxing a lot easier.

Say something to your dealer. Tell them when you make the appointment to bring it in for your 1000 mile oil change(thats right, 1000 miles!). They'll remove the crooked one and replace it.

crooked

they are all crooked the reason for that is so that its even with the c230 badge and if u go on your knees and look closely you will see that it is even with the "c230" badge and the kompressor emblem is straight its just that the glass at the bottom is not perfectly straight it kind of slants up a little bit. take a close look u will probolly see what i mean. but yes they still can look crooked sometimes. but i guess thats the best it can be since "Kompressor" is kind of a long word.

I've noticed on mind too....
Is all the letters attached using the adhesive or does it have little holes?
If it doesn't have holes I'm willing to take it off too.

All of the above
Rick,

Did you say 1000 mile oil change? Did you get your dealer to pay for this? Do you not trust the Flexible service system? I'm having a hard time with the idea of going 10,000 miles on the original oil.

Here is the Coupe with out the rear badges, and good compare do the previous post. Use dental floss behind the letter and a little sawing action and the letter comes right off. Sure beats trying to wax around them.

That easy huh? There are no holes drilled or anything? No sticky crap to rub out(no pun intended.) In that case the kompressor goes but I think I'll keep the C230 at least for now. I do like yours w/o any badges as well. Thanks.
