anyone ever tried E85 in their car?
I am just curious what happened and what the risks are. Anyone have experience with this? would say one tank full a year help clean the engine with the alcohol or any benefit whatsoever? assuming it doesnt outright brake the engine

E85 is largely a political animal. It will do you no good. Alcohol won't clean a thing left behind in an internal combustion engine. You wind up with about 30% less miles per gallon. It is corrosive too. Its only advantage is that it is cheaper per gallon, but probably about equal to gasoline when the mpg is calculated to cents per mile.
