Anti-Drainback Valve W203 M271
Does anyone know if their is an oil filter with an "Anti-Drainback Valve" included with and Oil filter for an 05' with M271? Is there even such a thing for this vehicle? I'm having a heck of a time finding it. Thanks!

That's what I figured, because I've inspected mine and have found no place to put a so called "ADB" Valve. Do you know where I can find an oil filter that'll work more efficiently keeping the oil filter filled at all times, so when I cold start the engine, there will be an almost instantaneous supply of oil to the engine?
Again, I'm still trying to remedy this lifter noise when I cold start (Per the video I posted in my previous thread)
Ps - Ill be sending the $ over soon for the Head Unit. Just shopping around if there's anything else with more features I can get besides what I already have. It wish there was a way to fix it without removing..

I wonder if one can do this hack - have a switch controlling the fuel pump.
Some people do that to deter theft, kind of like a "ghetto immobilizer" hidden switch.
So you would flip that off and crank the car for a couple seconds (oil gets pumped around), then flip it on, pump gets fuel to the injectors, car starts

With the oil filter housing cap on securely, after the car is shut down the OFH should stay full...for a while at least. Eventually some oil will drain back to the sump. It doesn't matter what kind of filter you use-the cartridge has no effect on drainback.
VVF...that is actually in use in places where car jackings/thefts are rampant. My buddy is an expat in East Africa, starting his Legacy wagon requires pressing the rear defrost button...he wired that switch to the fuel pump! If you didn't know this you'd have a hard time stealing his car even with the key...
