2003 C230 Kompressor won't start unless it's jumped.
I'm looking at a 2003 C230 Kompressor with the 1.8 and the guy says it won't start unless it's jumped and it stays running until you shut it off and you have to jump it again... They checked the alternator and battery and said they were fine... What could cause that?

If its an original battery its the battery for sure. It probally just won't hold a charge. Maybe he hasn't ran it in awhile? Mine had the same problem when I bought it, had to jump it twice. Bought a new battery, now it starts right away.

Must be the battery or connection issue as all that jump starting would do is put power into the posts just like a good working battery should do.
So how did they test the battery and what is the state of the battery terminals?
