What is the back spacing on your 18" rims compared to the original? That's how big a spacer you need.

real question is what is the width of the new wheels and the offset. also if you need spacers bigger than 3mm you'll want to get longer wheel bolts. standard wheel bolts on our cars is 38mm, so round up to 40mm cause most aftermarket bolts do increments of 5mm. so if you need a 5mm spacer you'll want to buy a 45mm spacer so the wheels are properly secure. It should take 6 full rotations of the wrench from beginning of starting the thread to tightening. if you buy too long of a bolt it will mess up the rear braking mechanism.
