my engine problem
i have questions where can i ask?? bout my clk 200
I have problem with my clk 200 engine... When start the key engine running not normal .. The rpm up an down not smooth..than after 2or3 minutes the engine back to normal.. When I go without waiting the problem will become other problems the engine like 1spark plug no fire.. My car is clk200 kompresor 2006

Trey - does not sound like timing chain issues though. 3 minutes is quite long for the tensioner to get oil pressure.
I would replace spark plugs/coils and see if it fixes the issue.

Oh I wasn't thinking timing chain just curious what engine as those foreign cars can use so many different engines. I asked about the noise because he said not normal and that can mean so many different things.

FWIW, seems like M271 engine has been extensively used in Europe in all flavors of C, E, CLK, SLK(?) cars beyond 2005.
