Check out my complete steering wheel removal write up at http://www.csportcoupe.com/forums/sh...&threadid=3633 Photos all you need.
How hard to install?
20 minutes the first time and 5 the second time.
I was one spline tooth off and the wheel was 5 degrees off horizontal so I did it again and moved the wheel one spline for perfection.
Tools needed:
Cresent wrench to remove power from battery
T30 screwdriver, all other T30 adapters etc would not fit in the small holes in the back of the steering wheel.
One 10MM hex drive head and breaker bar
That's it, and 20 minutes time.

thanks. I was going to change it without disconnecting the battery but good thing I read your post. I guess I may have gotten a airbag warning if I didn't. I have my wood MB steering wheel in ash leather for sale if anyone wants it. Hardly used.

Thanks Mark. But I already bought a nice Snap On Hex Set. Almost all my tools are Snap On.
