Question Inline Resistor

I should be getting my Euro Impact Strips from Steve anytime now. So I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of inline resistor I needed to put in place of the bulb?

This was answered in another post......

You WILL need a OHM Meter...

Measure the bulb with the OHM Meter for resistance in OHMs
Buy a Inline resistor that has the SAME resistance..install in place of the Bulb...... Very Easy!!!!!!!!

Do him and yourself a favor. Either turn a blind eye to his redundant questioning or just tell him the resistance value in ohms, so he can go to radio shack and get them.

If he doesn't know how to get to radio shack, I will draw a map for him, so don't worry I got yo back mark.

fyi, i know how to get to radio shack, i just need to know what the resistance value is so that I can just go there and pick it up.

Quite looking for the easy answer

Why don't you just take Mr. bulb with you,as you've already said you're going to Radio Shack. They can check the bulb's resistance for you and select an appropriate resistor to substitute for the light bulb.

Very simple math equation that could've been found thru on this forum. But since jigga-ma-whatcchacallit is too lazy

Wattage = Voltage squared devided by the resistance.

(IF) YOU would have done a search...The answer is there!
Since you dont know what a ohm meter is or how to read a light bulb I would Take the car to Mechanic to have this done...Because Im Sure you WILL have a Hard time to install the resistor..when you get the correct size resistor...
RELAX...and chill out....
YOU wont get help with replies like that

Jigga, when you get the strips, let me know. I'll tell you what you need and how to do it. It'll be easier than you think.

just leave the bulbs connected and stick them somewhere that they fit. Make sure there not resting against anything that they can melt.
