Headlights stay on after car is locked

Headlights stay on after car is locked
So I have a slight problem with my 2002 c240. My headlights stay turned on for at least 2-3 minutes after I lock my car or even turn it off. I tried turning the lights off completely but it still stays on. The fog lights turn on the lights right next to the headlights turn on and the blinkers on the bumper turns on. I tried looking for people with the same problem and I can't find it. I understand the lights should stay on for a little but I'm a bit concerned for the battery use because the time they stay lit is ridiculous.
