Replacing brake fluid reservoir ONLY

Hi all,

First post/thread so be nice

I've got a 2001 C200 Kompressor (165,000km on the dial). Recently took it in for a service, and amongst other things, I was told the brake fluid reservoir was cracked and needed replacing.

Took the car home and inspected myself, to discover the top is pretty badly cracked and seems there is a little bit of fluid seeping out. I see you can purchase new brake fluid reservoirs from pelicanparts, but am a little confused on the install job.

Is it possible to remove / replace the brake fluid reservoir without also having to: (a) disconnect the battery, (b) remove the master cylinder, and (c) bleed the brakes?

If so - then should be a pretty easy repair job! If no, off to the mechanic for me.

Cheers

THE C350
As for A I would not remove battery just be carful as the early w203's loved to blow rear sam's when you messed with the battery. As for C you will need to bleed the brakes which is a good idea anyway as you just go the car!
