255/35/19
I have 265/35/19 and for the drop that i want my tires are rubbing to much so my question is what would be the cons of running 255 in the rear on a 9.5 rim? would it look weird?

you can run 255's on a 9.5 rim... I know a lot of people doing that... it'll be stretched a lil bit and gives it a more rounded effect and not as square as a 265...

a lot of the guys from TWS are running 255's to avoid the rubbing issues... but I'm curious to know where your exactly rubbing? I'm running 265 p7000's on my rear and my cars pretty dumped in the back that you cant even put a finger between the fender and tire... did you get your fenders shaved/rolled in the rear... also you need to cut some of the cloth cover things within the wheel well... that was rubbing like crazy on my car and once they cut it I get NO Rubbing at all in the rear and I can sit people in the back as well...

either you go with a 255 or you can get a different brand tire that has smaller sidewalls like Falkens... their tires are a bit more rounded then square like the p7000's... I hate the p7000's and want to change up cuz I want my car lower too but I can't drop it anymore in the front with those tires...

Make sure you're using the proper offset for your wheel. Check and trim those parts that rub. You may want to look into buying Toyo T1-S tires; they seem to run narrow when compared to most other tires.
btw, If it does rub, it doesnt fit!

Bensito, what's your offset? and if you are going to change tires.. i recommend going with Toyo Proxes.. they have a very rounded edge to them compared to their competition.. check 'em out.
