Hey everyone, this is my first post here, as I am new to the Mercedes family. I have decided on my next car and it is undoubtably the C230 Coupe. After reading through some of the threads here it seems that a lot of you had to wait a very long time for your car. I was wondering if long waits were still common, and how long everyone had to wait in general. Thanks for your help!

I placed my order in the middle of January, I should be picking up my car in about 3 weeks. If you're flexible on colors and options, you may be able to just pick one up that's in stock at the dealer. But if you're looking for specific options that aren't a common combination, the wait will probably be between 2-3 months.

I drove it home the next day after I test drove it. There are so many to choose from at the dealer I can't imagine ordering. My dealer had over 30 of them a bit ago. They've had the same Orion blue, panorama roof, C7 w/chrome wheels, automatic in the showroom for about a month now. Just find the color you want and some of the must have options (manual vs auto and stuff like that) and call around, someone will have it unless you want a special order color like green or a special combination like red with the light colored interior. Heck they even had a used one. Besides, if you order one now you might have to wait for a 2003 C180 coupe when it comes out.
