W203 C200 Kompressor, 2002 model
Command board shows " - - - -" on audio/navi options.
Greetings folks. I own a C200 Kompressor, W203, 2002 model. The problem is with my radio/navi system. The car was with no power for a week, and when I changed the battery, the radio wouldn't turn on. Now, the display board (on board screen) shows 4 lines, i.e. " - - - -". I tried putting another radio on, it worked, but the one I currently own (Becker Audio A30 APS), won't turn on. The serviceman said he couldn't find any major errors with the A30 APS system, so now I really don't know what to do (except changing the radio, which is really not a cheap option).
I also checked the fuses, they were ok, the main fuse (no. 64), and the fuse found on the back of the radio device itself.
So, I was wondering, is there maybe a catch, like, pressing multiple buttons on the device so it could start, or something else?
Any advices/suggestions would come in handy.
