C240 Sports Wagon. Need a little help on a few things

I just recently purchased my second baby benz. My first was a tough 190D with the 2.2. Loved it, fixed it up ran it for quite some time as a DD. But due to too many vehicles at one time, and needing a larger truck as well, I sold it and regretted it ever since. Really wanted another diesel, but this one (a 2004 C240 with 174k) turned up for a Song and fit the bill as my wife's Taurus just did not ever "fit" right, especially in the long legs/seat department up front.

Anyway, as par for the course, it needed a few things, especially interior trim items. The car had been taken care of for most of its life and could find records with Mercedes going back to a little over 100k miles. But apparently the last owner fell out of love with it for the last 10 or 15k and there were a few gremlins lurking around. Having owned one before, I knew what I was getting into for the most part.

Several items were flashing on the panel at startup and have resolved all but two.

1) Major one is the SRS. I know that will probably require a visit to a local Mercedes specialist with Star capability to reset. The last owner had replaced the seat module and found some wires rubbing on ground. Not sure if that set it off or what, but they did a lot of poking around when they fixed it at the auto electronics place. From the paper work I was handed, they fixed it and did a lot of tracing wires to find all the issues with that circuit. But they were not Mercedes specialists apparently. I did try to use some QD contact cleaner in the seat belt receivers but it did not clear it up. I could use a few more ideas if anyone thinks this might be resolved without taking it to a qualified dealer or indie.

2) The unit kept flashing a "light sensor, drive to shop". When I started to tackle that one, I pulled down the cover to to light sensor, and there was NO light/rain sensor board. So, EAG is close to me and they had one for the car. When I went to pick it up, I realized that the plug had been pulled off the wires that go to the sensor. So, he pulled a bit of wiring harness off another car with the same sensor (S class?) but the wire colors were different. To be able to match up the harness correctly, I need some help identifying the position and color of the wires in their C240 as they fit into the plug that snaps into the sensor. Can anyone post a pic of the wires going into their sensor plug? No one seems to know.

Thanks in Advance for any one willing to help. I have a few more things I am trying to determine and fix so I may ask a few more questions soon, if anyone can help.

And if anyone has any general words of advice or questions, I'll be glad to hear them.
