found a way to not downshift at 70mph when step on the gas
I was just driving home the other day on the freeway and found out that if you are going around 70-80mph and stepping on the throttle gently and gradually all the way to the floor, the transmission will not downshift to 3rd. Instead it only downshift to 4th or stays in 5th depends on how slow you gradually step it to the floor. If you step on it hard, it'll down shift to 3rd at 70-80mph and then ZOOM...off you go...lol

well. i have experienced 2 or 3 times when she dont upshift on local street. it stay at 2nd gear even when my foot is off the gas.. i going around 50mph at the time.. i got a auto C320 coupe

without hitting the button I can still make the car downshift to 3rd when I floor the gas pedal fast.
