Still leaking fuel. Please help.

Still leaking fuel. Please help.
I have a 2003 C230 Kompressor. I recently changed out the fuel sending unit to a brand new one due to a hairline fracture on one of the nipples of the old unit. After changing out the sending unit there was still a leak. This time from the hose itself.
I already replaced the fuel sending unit once. I actually took it to a mechanic and got it done. However, they cut the hose that connects the sending unit and the fuel filter, shortening the hose, possibly from a leak.
So currently, there is a leak from the hose and I cant find the part number for that hose. Is it possible to just change it out to a steel braided fuel line thats not from Mercedes?
