Yeah, I was thinking that the new interior looked rather "Audi-ish".

By the way, the driver of this car is Jean Alesi who will be racing the C-class this year in the DTM.

I've seen pics of the C55 with the same Audi steering wheel, only difference is the steering wheel buttons. I like the F1 steering wheel the best.

Glad to see that MB finally realizes that the old instrument cluster is not that "Driver's Oriented" and especially drivers who rely on tachometer reading for shifting the transmission gear. Was that a temperature gauge on the left side? I hope future MBs will follow this direction. I can't wait to see the interior of the upcoming M164.

My wife wants the C230K sedan, so we been looking at the 2004.5, but looking at the new facelift pictures makes me want to wait..

Some feedback would be greatly apperciated.

Everything in the car is orange from window switches, sunroof switches. console, gauges everything

If you want to get rid of everything I think it will cost you a good few thousand $$$. Im not sure though. Get ready to open your wallet.

Yeah. The Euro Pimp will come through. Only part I am interested in is Center Console. Since there is no GAP when nav is not ordered is a big plus in this interior, just like the E class. I hate the gap with lack of comand in the current interior. And I am not going to pay 1400 bucks for comand to seal the gap! Hopefully the console is retrofittable and is not too $$$!

I would just trade your current car in if you have to have the new interior.

I thought a facelift means the outside of the car is revised...looks 99% the same to me....only the interior has been revised.

very nice update. I might just get the new C55 instead of an E500.

well, it's like the facelift for the W202 only the lower body panel/bumper are reworked. The C55 however do have a brand new nose job...lol

After looking at the C55 a few times I think it looks kind of awkward.

I mean Love the fact that it has the CLK front with the C-Class rear. But I think a CL grill would look alot nicer and fix the awkwardness.

Why mess with perfection? Actually, youre not looking very close, there are plenty of exterior changes, and even more under the skin(tranny, suspension, etc).

wow...

I was preparing to place an order in March so I'm guessing that these changes would apply anyway. I had no idea this facelift was planned! I'm probably in the minority but I prefer the original exterior design; one obvious improvement to me is the size and location of the tach.

Can anyone shed any light on mechanical changes/"improvements"?

So can the US expect the facelifted C to be out in the March also? Or later? If later when?

Unhappy New c230

The only thing I like in the new look are the clear headlight lenses and the gauges. I hate the current w203 speedometer. I wonder it it can be replaced with the new look.
