2005 C320 brake pad

Hey guys I am pretty new to repairing cars myself, recently the Brake wear Visit workshop message just came up, I am thinking about getting a pair of the Brembo ceramic pads on to replace my current ones, I was wondering is there something better to put on that than Brembos? Front part number is P50045N and back part number is P50033N. Also all pads comes in pairs right? or do I have to buy two of each? How does Brembo compare to Akebono EUR872 for front and EUR873 for back

This is what I have in mind for the brake pad sensor:
Amazon.com: Mercedes-Benz Brake Pad Sensor Right Front & Right Rear Premium Quality (2pcs): Automotive Amazon.com: Mercedes-Benz Brake Pad Sensor Right Front & Right Rear Premium Quality (2pcs): Automotive

Any guidance and suggestions is appreciated

just realized had a typo in the title from last night

Chances are I will be also replacing the rotors as well if I go with a non stock brake pad, was thinking about getting a crossdrilled and slotted rotors does anyone have any suggestions?

Cross drilled rotors do have a tendency to crack in between the holes, which is why they are generally not used on tracked cars. But on a daily driver, they're generally ok, but I'd still go with slotted only instead.

Many people are happy with the Akebonos; my guess would be that the Brembos are not worth the increase in price over the Akebonos.

Generally yes, in pairs, but you have to double check the description just to make sure.

Thank you so much, I will be picking out parts when I get home from work, and posting it here. Now, is it actually worth all this trouble since my car is just a daily. other than less brake dust, is there any real reasons why I would go with non OEM pads and rotors?
