Courtesy light problem -- please help

My 1st electrical problem has occured. The "courtesy" lights (or whatever the two lights below the headlights that come on to help you find your car at night when you hit 'unlock' on the fob) are not working. I double checked the light settings on the computer, and it is set to go on (they worked fine until yesterday). I also made sure the headlights are set to "auto".

Any suggestions on a fix before I take it to the dealer for the 3rd time since purchasing in December?

Also, the passenger side headrest won't go down all the way, but I doubt that is related.

Thanks for any insights.

Are you refering to the fog lights? Also the settings for me changed at first and I had to set them at least twice on each key to make it work and stay there. Not sure why the setting didn't hold at first but try to set them again and see what happens.

I just got my car back for that problem. They have to fix your Sensor on the rear view mirror. I had some loose wires in there.

Also is your LIGHT SWITCH on AUTO or at 0? It has to be on the AUTO to work.

Try it and let me know. If it is still not working then it is your sensor on the windshield. Hope this helps..

This may be it. I've got a vibration coming from the rear view mirror, perhaps they are related.

Lights are on auto

Not so -- the "locator" function is independent of the light switch position. It's controlled by the setting via the MFD.
