Bilstein B6 or B8 with H&R sport springs
I am hoping someone can shed some light on this issue for me. I have read many places that the Bilstein B6 HD strut/shocks can accommodate lowering of up to 30mm. The H&R springs are slightly more so, like 35mm.
Has anyone installed these B6 shocks on a lowered car (H&R, Eibach)? I'm sure B8's fit, but I am hoping to spare some softness in the suspension by choosing the B6. However, if they will cause the car to bounce and sway too much, I would like to go with the B8s.
Any information is helpful. I have done an extensive search on our forum for a conversation on this, but the conversations are mostly for 4-matics.
