2003 Mercedes-Benz C240
Exclamation Fluid check

So I just got my first Mercedes, a C240 2003. Unlike cars in the past where I knew where all the fluids were and what not, I don't really know how to check them in this car.

Where can I check my oil level, coolant, brake fluid etc... For my 2003 c240?

The manual was not included, so I have no clue how to check these things.

Thank you!!!!

Now don't get all pissed off at my suggestion, however most MB dealers will for free provide you with a new MB driver inspection---schedule one and ask the dough nut girl to lift the hood and point you to the areas you want to learn!!

Buy an owners manual either from the dealer or ebay - there are a ton of them there (just checked). You will need them anyway, so bite the bullet and get them now. Looks like the going rate is 35-45 on the bay.

Coolant is on the left hand side, oil cap is where you would expect it (though it would give you a warning if it were low, so it should be ok), never did my own brakes, so not sure about that. But definitely replace all fluids now, as you have no idea what's in there, how long it's been there, and how good of a quality fluid it was that was put in there in the first place.
