Recommended Car Wax Kit | Detailing Pics
I will say, after performing repairs and maintenance on your vehicle, there's nothing more gratifying than finishing the job with a good wax detail.
The old man has been using wax since the 50's and he started using this new(er) Barrett Jackson Auto Wax that he purchased from Walmart. He could not stop raving about the quality of this stuff and strongly suggested I use it on the Benz. Well, I took his advice and the results are amazing..
- Easy to apply
- EASY TO BUFF OUT (This is the part I like)
- Does not leave any powdery residue after/while buffing.
- Lasts for 3-4 months respectively. *Don't run through car wash, chemicals will eliminate the wax coating.
- Gives your car an incredible glossy wet look.
- Comes with both applicator pad and microfiber towel.
Tip: Use and old (soft) toothbrush to gently brush out those hard to reach areas. Emblems, mirrors, seams, molding etc..
It's available at Walmart, Home Depot, and Amazon for under $20
Barrett-Jackson 9961 Premium Auto Care Liquid Wax Kit
Not bad for a 10 year old car, ay?
Smooooooooooth
Hope this helps!

So jealous....
Am I the only one with some road rash on the front end? Everyone's ride on here has nice smooth front ends. How are you guys not getting rock chips...clear bra?
I got a $1600 quote to respray the bumper, hood and color blend with the fenders (whatever that means)

My front end looks good because the dealer I bought it from performed a respray before putting it on the lot - I can tell on the very lower lip of the bumper there's a little over spray. I'm getting little one's here and there though.
$1600 is too steep, dude. I'm sure you could find someone else for a MUCH lower cost..
