Door lock question
Came out to the car today, went to unlock it and the drivers door lock gave like a rattling noise and didn't unlock, finally after hitting the fob button a few times it unlocked. Now whenever I try to lock or unlock, it moves the stem up and down a few times and doesn't want to lock or unlock unless I hit the button a few times, what's going on here? What do I need to replace?
Thanks in advance!

Afaik you'll need to remove the airbag in the door to get easier access to the lock assy. Search for "door lock pogo stick" or similar. E.g. https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c...l-removal.html

Pogo Lock Fix
This happened on my 2003 C240 Wagon a couple of years ago. You be able to repair it with some inexpensive lock springs. The full lock is assembly can be rather expensive.

Awesome thanks for the info! I'm gonna have the shop that normally does my repairs look into it, they said about $400 to fix it
