Hello all. The radiator fan on my car has been running in high mode constantly when ignition is on or engine running, I had the visit workshop msg re coolant. I was cringing at the thought I may need a new ECU.
Took my car to an independent small Mercedes specialist who hooked it up to diagnostics which showed open conectetion between Ecu and fan, I left my car and returned couple of hours later expecting bad news.
The mechanic had found a bad repair on one of the wires to the fan, he fixed it propely and wow prob fixed car working great )). It cost £60 needles to say I was a very happy guy.
