Convertible child seat help needed
Hello...
While I don't actually own a MB, my mother and father-in-law do. As they'll be transporting our now 7-month-old twins frequently, we're now in a position to transition from infant seat bases to actual convertible car seats that will occupy the back seats. We've tried the two models linked below and have had terrible results.
Their car is outfitted with the latch system; however, even after cranking these seats down as tight as I possibly can (and I'm a pretty big guy), they still feel loose in the seat and it doesn't take much of any effort to push on the back of the child seat and have it flip totally up to the back of the vehicle's seats. It's almost as if a combination of the base of the child seat not being tall enough along with the heightened rake of the bucket seats in the rear is combining to create a pivot point with the child seat's harness that is just all around unsafe. This is obviously not our desired outcome.
I've done my best to search your forum, but haven't found anyone with this specific issue. I'm curious what, if anything can be done - and/or what brand(s)/model(s) of convertible car seats work well with this model of MB. I should make it known that we have attempted to put towels/pool noodles under the seat to increase the seat height to be a bit more level and this didn't work either.
In-law's vehicle:
2001 Mercedes Benz E320 sedan equipped with latch
Models of seats that we've tried:

They had been using our infant car seats with detachable bases. The bases worked in their car without any issue:

Thank you in advance!
