Enkei rpf1 wheel fitment?

Hi All;

Have been searching endlessly for light wheels and came across enkei rpf1 wheels. Some threads suggest these are the best bang for the buck, give the 17" wheels are 16 pounds and in the $200 range.

On tirerack.com, it is suggested these tires will not fit.

Does anyone run these wheels and have suggestions?

Thanks!

I have those in 15" on my CRX. Great, lightweight rims. However, the brake clearance is lousy on them in general, which is why a lot of people have switched over to the PF01 instead. Just about as light, and stronger. TR does recommend the PF01s for your car (and they're only 18 lbs); have you considered them?

Generally, TR plays it very conservatively with wheel fitments, so there may be certain wheels that will fit that they don't list as fitting, but you'll always be good with rims they list.

Why sticking with 17s also? 18" rims look much more awesomer on a C Class than a 17. At least that's my humble opinion.

Hey Tommy,
I'm looking at 17" wheels to preserve ride quality. It is also my understanding that 17" wheels accelerate quicker. Yes, I have considered PF01s. They do look nice. I prefer black, which is not avaiable, but I could always plastic dip.

There also also O.Z. ULTRALEGGERA, at 17.1 lbs, what to you think of those? How will ride quality degrade with 18" wheels???

Excellent choice!!!! Well, if only because that's what I had on my car. I really liked them.
I didn't see that much of a difference of 18" vs 17" rims. I just think they fill out the wheel wells better.
