One of my wheels star is missing. If someone knows where I can find this star please let me know. there are pictures from my wheels model and I need star like this, because all stars that are offered on ebay or other sites for MB wheels are different models but I think this star is just on this model
Hey guys, how much do you ask for it? Apparently I also need one - mine has one piece of the star broken off and the paint is peeling. Perhaps those gorillas at discount tire screwed up.
I bought some CF chrome star center caps (75 mm) on eBay for around $15. But when I tried putting them on, they wouldn't fit correctly and did not have a flush fitting. I tried forcing them in as my last result and on one of the attempts, one of the tabs cracked and broke on me. Anyone know of a link that has quality fitment MB center caps?
I was at a tire shop mounting up some AMG rims I purchased used (the rims didn't have the center wheel piece), and they had center mercedes wheel caps for sale. Took a look at them and they were knock offs with no inner ring on the inside. It just had clips. They wanted $100 bucks for them. I found some OEM Mercedes Benz wheel caps (4) on Amazon for $70. Got them a few days ago and and they had the MB part number on the back of each wheel cap. Be careful when you're buying wheel caps on Ebay or Amazon. There's a lot wheel caps out there that are knocks off and usually priced really low. But you get what you pay for......

No matter how I tried to make the cheap knockoff cap fit, one side would always be farther in than the other. It would not sit correct/flush in the wheel. As I was forcing it in, one of the cheap plastic tabs broke off far easier than I expected. In the end, I bought the Himalaya Grey ones off a guy on Craigslist just to change up my color way and finally get ones that fit.
