2005 C240 4matic European Delivery ( 6/04) Pewter / Ash leather
2005 C Class 4matic ordered
Hi guys..just registered and this is my first post. Three weeks ago ordered an '04 240 4matic C class for my wife scheduled for European Delivery in June '04. Local dealership was notified last week by MBUSA that any customer ordering a C class for E. Delivery for June '04 would receive an '05 facelift model. However, MBUSA will not release any price information until the '05 C class "launch" scheduled for the last week of May. They say that this is "Top Secret".....so I don't have a clue regarding the new pricing structure. Hopefully it will be pretty close to current price or not more than a 1 or 2 % increase. Going on blind faith here and trust that MB corporate will hold the line on price as best they can. Will also have to juggle some of the options I purchased, such as the glove compartment CD changer since the '05 will come with a in-dash CD player.
So far, my local MB dealership has been very helpful and I'm relying on them to keep me informed. Just waiting for MBUSA to send the production number.
BTW...great Board !

Dealers are in fact only taking orders for MY05 cars. As for the price increase, I would expect the normal 1%. As for the increase on the C320, this is due to the fact that the Auto tranny is standard (MY04) on the Luxury Sedan/Wagon while the MT is standard on the Sport Sedan/Coupe.
