SQUEAKING STEERING WHEEL 2.0 & Tugboat
Hi All,
I know this has been discussed here before and most suggested a low steering fluid level. Nevertheless, I just changed my turn signal stalk earlier today. After I put everything back together is when squeaking sound appeared while turning the wheel Left/right . Seems like its coming from the wheel itself. It was not there prior. The steering wheel was torqued to 60 ft/lbs. Too add, the driver side control arm started leaking after doing a test drive & turning the wheel to extreme L/R. On Slammer111 diy, he mentioned a brass bushing/spacer. I did not see it on mine. I don't know if my vehicle comes with it or not.
Any thoughts? Hate to take the wheel off again. Hope it goes away.
Also, once in a while the engine sounds like a tugboat for a few seconds but goes away. MAF going out you think? I just cleaned the darn thing & throttle body.
Thanks.
