Had everything ready to go, but I could get the fill plug out of the differential, it started to strip the 8mm hex plug they have in there so I stopped trying, hit it with from PB plaster and put it all back together..

I'm going to hit it with PB blaster everyday and give it another go on Saturday, need to pick up a replacement fill plug because I think the one in there will be toast if I finally get it out.

Anyone have any tips on getting it loose?

Yep use the correct size tool---if not yours will be filled for life!!

 

Time to try the impact driver......
