I recently canceled an extended warranty on a new car purchase. I called
the dealership 4 or 5 times and finally they faxed me the required documents
and I filled them out and faxed them back. It took about 5 weeks and it was
backed out of the end of the loan. Read the extended warranty contract and
see if their is an escape clause. Generally once a dealership has your
money they don't want to give any of it back. Customer service ends once
you sign the contract.
Good Luck!

As some of you have noticed, i made a post earlier that stated that i was thinking about getting a new 04' C230K for my wife. She already has a 99' C230K with about 2 more years left on the warranty. Does anyone know if i can get a pro-rated refund on the existing extended warranty (on the 99') or is that just not possible? Will it take any haggling? The extended warranty is through MB. Again, thanks for any help!
