What Type of Transmission Oil to use?
Hey guys I just want to do a transmission oil change on my car and before I do I want to know what type of transmission oil to use.
Could someone give me a hand or send me a link where I could find details about my car.

You need to use the stuff approved by Mercedes.
Assuming you have automatic, currently, they have a fluid spec that covers both the 5 speed auto, and and the 7 speed using the same stuff.
It's called ATF134. You can get if from Mercedes, but much cheaper from
Shell, and a couple other companies.
Just google atf134.
If you have a manual there's lots of threads with the mercedes part # for the oil.
If you plan to do this yourself, PLEASE don't make the mistake of putting the ATF in the engine as a few others have around here.
