03 c230 kompressor. can I reset my ac light myself

03 c230 kompressor. can I reset my ac light myself
or do I need the dealer to do it? I know later years can do it from the climate control with lcd but what about the standard panel?
background, if I jumper 12 volts the the kompressor it turns on and car gets cold. ac pressure is fine also but the light is constantly on. the only other thing I can think of is the pressure sensor but that is a lot of money to replace and evac/recharge the system if it isnt the problem.

That being said, if your AC compressor comes on only with a jumper, then the pressure switch probably needs replacement.
