w203 c240 4-Matic Wagon
New owner of w203 C240 4matic wagon

Hello ladies and gents. My gf recently asked me to buy her a car for under 4 grand. She made it pretty clear that she wanted a mercedes, I like the utility of a wagon, so I pulled the trigger on a wagon for $3000. Now I have to make it pretty for her.

There are three issue that I really want to address as soon as possible:
1) the car shuddersat around 60mph. I found somewhere that it could be does to low transmission fluid (which sounds somewhat credible in my case because I have a leaking CV seal).
1.1) Obviously replacing the leaking seals would be nice.
2) One of the fog lights doesn't turn on. I replaced the bulb, but still no go. I figure there is some sort of fuse or relay that might needs to be replaced, but the fuses for all the lights are listed as "electronic" on this site, so I was hoping someone could clarify what that means.
3) The turn signal lever does not stay in the blinking position for the right turn signal. I can feel it kinda sort of try to grab on to something, but I guess whatever it usually clicks onto is broken or worn down in that direction.

I will update the post with pictures a little later.

I'm a shade tree mechanic, I've worked on some used BMWs before though, including rebuilding one of their inline 6 motors (that was fun). Neither I nor my gf can afford the labor at euro car shops, so I'll be doing the work myself, and I have a few sources for OEM euro parts. Any help would be appreciated. My gf said this car only needs to run for another year or so, but I figure with a little bit of TLC, this baby can run for another 150k miles and hit the 300k mark without any significant difficulty.

Turn signal is an easy fix. As always... verify that this is the right part for your car... here is the one I got:

I followed this procedure (more/less):
