Battery Replacement.
Dear All,
I own a 2005 model C230K Sport which I have driven for over 3 year now with factory installed 12V 100Ah MB VARTA Battery (White Colour Type). However, this battery's voltage has recently fallen to about less than 7 Volts so am planning on having it replaced.
I have visited a VARTA Battery dealer's outlet here in Nigeria, to buy another 12V 100Ah MB VARTA Battery (White Colour Type) but unfortunately they do not have this. Rather, what they have in stock is 12V 110Ah VARTA Silver Dynamic.
Hence, my question is this, is it safe to install the 12V 110Ah VARTA Silver Dynamic battery in the car? Will the car's electrics/electronics run effectively and efficiently considering the 12V 110Ah VARTA Silver Dynamic battery's 110Ah Capacity, 932A Cold Cranking Amps, 24Kg Weight and 393x175x190mm Size?

Why do you think the battery has not been replaced since factory?
Mine once dropped to 7v overnight but it was because the audio system refused to enter sleep mode. So perhaps try to charge it first and see if it holds the charge.
The replacement battery capacity exceeds the spec, which is actually good. Just make sure the dimensions are the same as your current battery.

I thought so, since the battery's warranty is 5 years and I know of 2-3 person that own a 2005 C230K Sport and theirs are still running on the factory MB Varta Battery (White Color Type).
However, I will charge like you have advised and see if it holds the charge, otherwise, I will go for the 12V 110Ah VARTA Silver Dynamic minding the dimensions.
