i have to disagree with you there Harris, my c coupe is by far the ugliest. dont get me wrong i love the damn thing but i try not to look at the rear that often. I think this car is going to be a huge seller specialy considering some people feel the slk is a "girly" car. For those who don't want a clk but dont want a full on sedan like an E class or S class, i think this is the best solution and its interior is superior to that of anything else. Its deff one of those cars thats going to take time getting used to.

I like the 6-series better. At least it's a real coupe.
I don't see how it will sell if it's going to be priced higher than the E-class and the CLK. Case and point, the E can actually seats 5 people with useful rear doors, and the CLK can also seats 4 with better looking side profile. The CLS, well it's just plain ugly and useless as a people carring sedan or a coupe.

The CLS is an unequivocal home run both inside and out. The 6er in comparison is a styling mess. You have to see these in person to truly judge the two. It is good to see this type of effort from MB - hopefully this will set the design direction for future models.
For another opinion, check autospies. They did a comparison of the 6er vs. the CLS and it was a wash - virtually everyone loved the CLS and thought the 6er was a DUD.

Now how can you call that a coupe? do you see BMW calling their M5 a coupe? it's got all the sporty feature like what Merc is claiming about the CLS, propably more....
Anyway, to me it looks **** if they stuck with the coupe name just like what they did with C-class coupe (no offence, there is nothing wrong with that car), but I can't work out how they can call that a coupe as well, shouldn't that be called an hatchback? I thought coupes are cars not only with 2 doors but with a boot as well??
CLS is a nice car if they name it properly, a sporty 4 door seden, not a coupe.
