Lets play guess game
Hey guys, this will be my first post here! I've been reading alot and still I only get guessing answers on my issue.
Well here it is, I bought a C230 w230 m272 v6 2,5ltr 126.000km
First. Sparking plugs, I have no idea if or when the previous owner changed the sparking plugs. What are the common symptoms.
Nr1;
When I start my car in morning or day or night, my key would turn all the way to ignition position ( all the way to the right)but no start??? All the lights on dash on but no start no cranking, I will have to go back to 0 position and start again normally. Scenario nr 2. Car would start normally run for about 30sec -1 min then it would shut down. No CEL.
And it doesn't happend everyday

My car gives me 3 times a month CEL with codes ofcourse 1200(0017) and 1208(0016).
Question if i had ****ed camshaft would't the CEL be all the time ON? CEL light comes on maybe 3-5 times max a month for 1-3 hours of total drive.
My engine nr is WDBRF52H56A903073 can some one Vin it and tell me if my car is affected.
Is it timing chain or camshaft.
Question, can nr1 be connected to nr 2?
Nr3;
Mb Iceland told me that they have Recall on Solenoid hard wiring. What is it?
They told me about goodwill for camshaft. My car is 128.000km now.
I already have changed my Solenoids because i've been reading that MB used bad solenoids.
I am concerd about starting problem and shutting down
