Retrofit of Bose sound system

Good day to you all. Out of curiosity I wanted to check what kind of speaker I have on my rear board (sedan w203 2005). So after long fight I menage to open the cushions and to my surprise I discovered that there is only foam and no speaker what so ever. I found out that in my version (classic) the low range speaker was installed only if somebody payed additionally for it and in avangarde version it was included in as a standard.

To the point now. I would like to buy bose speakers from AMG version and I know for a fact that there is low range speaker included to the set (see the picture in the link)

http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNj...ZWV9Vz/$_1.JPG

First of all can I actually physically cut the foam and install the speaker on my rear board, if yes how do I connect it to the sound system? I don't see any cables which would allow to connect it (I guess if they didn't include speaker they didn't install harness as well).
I am complete rookie if it comes to car electric/electronic, so I would need some extensive and dumb proof explanation if one will show up.
Cheers!

Thanks for the link, but this thread does not answer my question. I know how to change the speakers on front and back door, no problem with that. My main concern is the bass speaker located in the back on the board above the trunk. I have very specific question on which I need the answer: can I retrofit the bose bass speaker (subwoofer) to rear board and how to handle the wiring? Just for clarity I will point that every version of the car body (sedan/combi/coupe) has different solution for the low range speaker placement and its shape. I have sedan version and there is only one speaker with special plastic cone which was used in the AMG w203 (seen on the picture from my last post). Metal structure of my board above the trunk is plane (flat), so I have no idea if this bose speaker with its housing will physically fit. Maybe they made special modification of the board for AMG version, maybe not... I need to be sure 100%. The speakers are expensive and I don't want to waste my money.

I don't know about the fit on the parcel shelf but I would first look at the amp and see if it is the same as the one with the extra sub.

FYI - 2004 was the last year of the Bose system. 2005+ had HK Logic7

Its possible, you will need many parts beyond the speakers you show. You need the H/K amp, fiber optics, a new wiring harness that starts at the rear amp and goes to all of the speakers, you will need to remove all of your seats, carpet and rear parcel shelf to route the harness correctly. You need to cut the foam in the parcel shelf or get new foam for the 810 option (H/K audio). In order to have dynamic volume adjustment, you will also need to route another harness and install a microphone in the head liner. In addition, I think you are correct that the speakers you show in your picture are for the Bose system, you need the ones for Harman Kardon, they are blue.
