Question Brake Linning Wear Alert

Hey guys i got this msg today from my car... anybody know what could have caused it?

Oh....they have such warning???? My brake lines broke the other day and I have no message!!

There are wear sensors on at least the front brakes if not all four. I would assume all four but who knows. Anyway the sensore is either bad or you brake pads have worn down to the indicator point.

yeah there should be sensors there..

thats why I was pretty annoyed when the service advisor tried to sell me new brake pads with my car having 45,000kms, 75% of which is highway (seldom hard on the brakes in the city either)

haha...I was told I only had 20% left on the pads up front last time when I changed the tires. That was 2500 miles ago. I too will just wait for the warning to come on to change the pads.
