2001 C240 Signal / pwr seat / display faulty issue
Hello so once again i'm working on the GFs car.
Here's the deal:
My buddy loosened the pos terminal of the battery. It didn't come off but it was definitely loose.
Next I tightened it back up and removed the neg first.
waited 10 min then re connected.
Now for the fun
Had two issues one of which is fixed.
The big bad " Visit workshop Display Faulty" with a "!" and circle, indicating electrical ?
Anyway I tinkered around and came up with this
The hazard lights function isn't working, neither do hte turn signals. To be clear when the signal is pushed up or down "NOTHING" happens, no signal light on the dash no lights on the car no clicking at all.
Also the power seats fail to work.
So I took out my handy dandy test light and came up with: No power on fuse 1 or 2 or 10 from the rear fuse panel.
I haven't gone as far to see where the signal stuff is located but i'm assuming its on the same panel.
What causes no power other than wire melting? or bad ground?
I looked into the "SAM" stuff and its likely it could be that but what can i Do to test for all of this before whipping out the wallet
Thanks in advance.
Regards Rylan
