It's been fun but time to move on.....
Finally decided that it was time to move on from the C230. It's been a great 10 years and 150,000 miles but I was afraid the next repair bill would cost more than the car was worth. Needed brakes, tires and had a pesky oil leak that just could not be found without spending a bunch of $$$. Somewhat fear that it's a rear main seal.
Have to say that the W203 was one of the most reliable cars I've ever owned and was a pleasure to drive. The W203 was almost the perfect size and I hate how they gave gotten so large over the years. Since I retired last December I no longer needed the back seat or extra 2 doors so I jumped in with both feet and traded the C230 for a Certified Preowned '13 SL550. Have to say that I wish that I had done this a few years ago. Awesome HP and rides like a much bigger car. Have had it for about 6 weeks and have had the top up maybe 3 times. Finally own one of my dream cars.
