Installing new climate control knobs
Hi- New 230 Coupe owner; have been studying the threads on the forum for quite sometime but can't seem to find a quick "how to" on this.
I have analog climate control and a single missing knob; I was able to pick a replacement up off ebay but it is unclear how to get it installed. I thought I would just push it on but it seems there may be an existing plastic sleeve already in the climate control.

Update- Per B3Hulk the tabs need to pinched and the knob will fit in. However, the replacement knobs on eBay aren't OEM so they aren't shaped like the OE knobs on the front; the easy fix is to grind a little of the plastic so that the knob will sit on the unit.

I doubt that it's a frequent issue folks here have had to deal with...looks like you're gonna be the pioneer on this one. I do have my old analog unit from when I swapped to digital, I'll take a look tonight.
