2003 c240 wagon sideview mirror blurry help!
Ok drove my wifes c240 last night in the dark we don't usually use that car at night and I noticed the drivers sidview mirror is REALLY blurry kinda like if your watching a 3d movie and take the glasses off so 1 car in the mirror looks like 3......not good
its fine in the day so im guessing its the auto dimming feature? it works power wise for adjustments no blown fuses
so any ideas??

I can't tell you why it would be blurry but I can tell you that they are very easy to replace if you can find one. I just replaced mine last week. I found a used one on ebay for $95 shipped (Yes heated and tinting). New online run anywhere from $2-300ish.
To replace, many of the youtube videos show removing the clip on the back with the mirror housing in place. I recommend removing the housing, it's a simple clip and pops right off. From there the clip and plugs are easy. Took me about 15 minutes and I spent most of that time cleaning the inside of the mirror housing.
If you don't need the tinting I suspect you could retrofit a standard heated mirror in it's place. Or you could go super cheap and get one of the glue on overlays I've seen on amazon for $15-20.
Sorry I couldn't offer a proper answer. The prices I mentioned are in the lower 48, not sure what that looks like in Canada.
