Ac help - no ac from driver zone

Ac help - no ac from driver zone

This is for a 2003 C320

wanted to see if anybody get some pointers or ideas before I start ripping apart the dash to look at stepper motors linkages and flaps

i've done the self test that operates the stepper motors and appears that the air handlers are changing but for whatever reason I just don't get AC on my driver side it feels like it is the fresh air from outside

Yea not sure about anything. I just noticed this the other day and was trying to get some pointers. It may not be a flap or maybe its linkage. Maybe it's low freon maybe it's???? (The reason I am asking the question).

If you know the best place to start diagnosing let me know. I'm very new to the w203 world (7days now)

so far I've run the hvac cycle test but it all seems to work as intended minus the no cold ac from driver side

Ok that was a lot of words from the mb elite to suggest - check low freon. Got it. Thanks :-)

i have an R class and went thru the same sort of troubleshooting. No driver side AC But then if you close the driver side vents completely then the passenger side also goes warm. Doesnt make sense if its the flaps or sensors...
Lots of forum research and consensus was low freon.. So you have a slow leak somewhere...
