Sparkplugs...

What's the best replacement sparkplugs? Dealer charges $500 to replace these, I laughed in their faces...

But I did find out that there are 12 spark plugs in the C320, 2 per cylinder.

Anyone using Bosch Platinum +4 (quads), it's supposed to improve gas mileage and give a larger spark, more HP?

Just leave them alone, they are good for at least 80-100kmi. Use stock ones, wouldn't MB engineers know better?

I used the what dealer installed; but they charged me 125 for 12, not 500. It was done during my last B service @ 60+k miles.

Is the 500 incl. labour?

btw, unless you have done heavy mods to your engine; like turbo or s/c, use what the dealer or manual recs. I think you are wasting your cash looking for "more power", when you could gain the same by dumping any excess weight that may be stashed in your trunk, or even getting lightweight tires or wheels...my .02
