Whats up guys my car is heading downhill and i want make her brand new again. I have a couple questions that ive been looking for on the fourms that are outdated.
1) Air filter.
I dont know if it would be better to buy this air filter http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Mercedes...FV7-Ib&vxp=mtr

2) Rattling Sound
Ive had these weird noise. It only sounds when I am in Drive and Reverse.

3)Quick Fix
As you can see the sun has destroyed my paint any tips on that? As well my sun visor that flap is broken and wont stay closed.
So far that is the only things i need that come off the top of my mind

The noise sounds very much like your alternator overrun pulley has seized and is about to take the AC compressor with it... suggest not using the AC in the meantime.
IIRC, one way to check is when it is rattling like that, is to turn the fan control knob all the way to Off and the rattle should stop.

The intake hose - the factory had something in mind when specifying fabric type material instead of plastic hose though... $60 - $20(the price of that AdvanceAuto pipe) is not that much (I didn't bother, but might buy a new hose some day. Probably can find them for $50 elsewhere btw.)
Try to wax the mirror covers maybe? I think repainting will cost more than buying, say, this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercedes-Ben...xVMfpv&vxp=mtr
Color match was decent ( + there was a thread on these on the forum)

^ lol yeah thats exactly what happens when i turn it off it stops. ill look into that.
The intake hose i replaced with the $20 replacement fit like a charm. looking to do a whole K&N filter upgrade that actually will help my car with air flow.
