my car wont pull,

I have a pre-Facelift w203 c200, the car has been really jerky and unresponsive to the throttle. we have changed the spark plugs on the car, gotten a new fuel pump, and also had the computer box checked but it seems not to be solving the problem. the car is usually fine on start up and when you initially start to drive it but it the suddenly becomes very jerky and almost totally unresponsive to the throttle. it is as if the car is not running on all four cylinders, which is why we initially changed the plugs. If anyone has any ideas on what could be wrong please help.
