car not starting

daughter told me the other day that her car would not start in the morning and she had to give it gas to start it. so i told her when she came home for the holidays (shes at college) i would take a look at it. well two days later the car does not start no matter what. just turns over.

it will after cranking a bit want to start slightly but that only last a couple secs then stops and just turns over freely.

no check engine light.
scanned for codes and says everything ok
changed the cam postition sensor. nothing
checked spark with inline testor have spark
checked fuel pressure it says 50-52, believe i need 60 so would that stop it from starting
checked the brake pedal switch seemed ok
thinking i might change the crank position sensor but it should give a code if bad correct

where do i look now or just head to the mercedes garage

Try cycling your key on and of a few times to build up full pressure. Then turn it over and see. If it starts. If it runs for a second then your fuel pump my be shot. I'd change the fuel filter as well as there is a pressure regulator in it. IF fuel is the case. If you have fuel spark and compression id take it to a knowledgeable mechanic

CPS throws codes sometimes but not always. Its "MO" is to fail when warm though.
